Contract Reviews & More

We want to help cut down on any stress that you feel surrounding paperwork or logistics of your upcoming real estate venture. The services included for these transactions are drafting or reviewing contract documents, ordering and reviewing title commitments, preparation of necessary closing documents and attending closings.

Our real-time responsiveness combined with our detailed focus makes us the perfect team to take on your residential real estate case.

How to Prepare for a Smooth Closing

Several weeks before the closing process takes place, our team will ensure that you have all of the necessary requirements in place for a timely, smooth close. Whether your closing is deemed simple or it is on the more complicated end of the spectrum, rest assured that you are in good hands. Our team at Hanson & Fisher understands the ins and outs of this area of law to help answer your questions and make you feel confident in your decision.

Pricing

Price quotes are given upon request at the time we are hired. In the case of transfers of residential real estate, we typically charge a flat fee ranging from $400 to $750, depending upon the number of parcels transferred, the location of the property and closing office and the complexity of the transaction.

Occasionally, our review of contract documents reveals matters which require additional work to resolve. These may be things such as contract inspections which lead to requests for repairs from buyer to seller, title exceptions which must be removed in order to clear title to be transferred from seller to buyer, survey defects which necessitate negotiations with neighboring landowners and the like. In the unlikely event that one of these matters arises, additional time spent to dispose of it would be charged at our current hourly rate in addition to the fees referred to above.
